This is intriguing, amazing, confusing, hilarious, and slightly disturbing all at same time.

Glad you're amused mts132, who knows where it end?... not me! - the plot unravels as we go along -
hopefully tomorrow a hazel-back guitar update, but for now it's

as predicted - all three arrive together and meet trouble at the gate

but oh one o' three is emboldened from the fairy tea, + experiencing the rhyme-speak side-affect

Meanwhile - there's a bit of fretting going on in the fretting dept. - specially fretting is the trainee supervisor
(eldest son of Our-man-the-supervisor) - on account of being momentarily in charge...

But fortunately our trainee supervisor had something up his sleeve...

Happy Christmas, Martin! Perhaps a sound sample of this little guitar will be forthcoming, if it ever gets strung up?

Thanks very much Lovemyguitar, and merry xmas to you too... guitar's probably going to be pitched rather high :?

meanwhile we haven't even reached lunchtime yet on day 1...
the prisoners (two, three o' three being still on the run) are taken directly for a royal hearing.
Not wanting to land the boatman in hot water, oh one o' three gives a poetically licensed account
of how he acquired the hat -

So where we were?

Still more before lunch... our hero is taken to a changing room for to try on a new hat - and finds the tea fairy's fallen tree-leaf
message hidden inside it...

The scene from Dec. 24 was my favorite. "Please don't tell me you jumped ahead and glued the fingerboard in place before I had a chance to cut the fret slots!" It's the look in his eye that makes it so funny. Great stuff, all around, including the settings.

Oh, good, the story's back! I'd actually been wondering if we'd get more installments. Cheers! :D

You should make a book out of it, for kids! Love the hazel back guitar by the way. I am from Oregon and we have lots of those and filberts.

:)  ta!

there has been a delay on account of the props dept. messing about... then a new hat was suddenly spotted
for an interlude whilst we await the spoons -
civilized soup can't be supped without spoons and they're not finished yet

back to the changing room - which is, as one might expect, changing...

You might also enjoy this from Martin. And perhaps the thread it's in.

and a few seconds later...
the room changed into the supervisor's hideaway studio -

where to he had disappeared earlier, having had enough of the supervising/soup-advising, etc., for the morn...
