Hazahh!! My new Cervantes guitar!!

Post by Swin » Sun Mar 05, 2017 1:04 am

Ahhh... At last...
Today my hubby and I took a trip to Maple Street Guitars in Atlanta (ahem) again. Every time I go I play (and love) a Cervantes guitar. "My" concert Rodriguez style was sold since I was last there (so, I guess, not MINE after all). They did have his Rodriguez PE - very beautiful- but it turns out that I really liked playing the Clas Lattice PE Studio the best. For my level of playing, definitely a step up from my below basic Fender student classical (you know, the one that comes with picks).

I am a very happy customer and, as always, very pleased with all of the guys at Maple Street.

-Suzie

I'd include pictures, but I haven't figured out how to do that here just yet.

No worries - was just joking :-)

P.S. I don't know if you can put photos in a post yet - look around for instructions - you might be too "new" to the forum. If you could, it would be under the window for the message, the tab next to "options", it says "Attachments". There you can upload a file (< 250kB), then click "inline" to make it appear within the post, rather than as a link.

Congrats, Swin!

I really love my Concert Milenia. They're amazing guitars for the money.

I have a Cervantes Crossover Signature. Double back with a sound port. Excellent guitar, excellent workmanship. I would not hesitate buy another one from him. Perhaps with a wood upgrade and a pick up

With what wood? Do you mean for the back/sides? What type would you prefer?

Music is a big continent with different landscapes and corners. Some of them I do visit frequently, some from time to time and some I know from hearsay only ...

The one I own now is spruce/ coco bolo. the wood upgrade I would like is for a more figured coco bolo with some white wood in it for the back and sides. purely for aesthetics. I would like to get it with a Barbera pickup. We'll see what happens in the next year or two if I can see ma way clear to buy another guitar
