Fascinating Interview with Barrueco

Postby Adrian Allan » Thu Mar 09, 2017 7:41 pm

Lots to learn from here
Youtube

Question after question after question.

His attitude towards recording in one take (does he do it?) to his taste in wine.

Manuel is a very nice guy. I observed his master class at Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1992. Only one student in the class impressed me but he was very polite and respectful of everyone. I know Barrios' "An Alm for the Love of God" which he performed at the end of the interview, but I'll never be able to play it as well as him. His biographical DVD is worth buying if you don't already have it.
Blessings,
Michael
