Sports that involve your hands and weight lifting (can be bad for your nails).

Ironically, being too focused on protecting the hands/nails. Example, I was worried about catching my nail on that board and drove a splinter right into the pad of my finger.

Household Appliances:
I am going to clean the refrigerator this morning. I have been dreading it, since I will chip or break a nail on all those shelves, drawers etc. that require removal, cleaning, reassembly ad nauseum. Bummer. :(

I am also afraid of my washer and dryer. Their doors "have a contract on long nails".

Simply dressing and undressing...catching nails on loose threads etc.

Or controversially.....worrying that you have to play with nails in the 1st place ;-)
