Galbraith new album by Guitarcoop

Postby Luis_Br » Mon Apr 17, 2017 4:08 pm

Galbraith has just released a new album "Bach and Mozart", by Guitarcoop, with their great quality sound production.
Here a sample video with Mozart Adagio from Sonata K570:

Remarkable interpretation. Ricardo Maruí, the sound engineer, said the experience was amazing. Paul is so committed to the music that this video was made in a single take with absolutely no cuts.

There are a couple new interviews with Kayath, on his recording by Guitarcoop, conducted by Fabio Zanon, and on his early years by Paulo Martelli:

Martelli has just recorded a terrific Bach album on the 11-string guitar, to be released soon!

I recently bought his new Mozart/Bach CD--fantastic playing, as always. I'm seeing him this Saturday in San Bruno, CA--can hardly wait!

That was a beautiful interpretation, thank you. I saw Paul perform a few years back and he did a couple of his arrangements of Haydyn's Piano Sonatas. It was my favorite guitar concert ever, and I have been to many. His style and instrument are really well suited for these types of pieces.

I would like to purchase this CD but unfortunately it doesn't appear to be shipping to the US as I was unable to get a shipping quote, got a message saying no shipping available to this address. Also, I looked at downloading it, the price shows as 9 USD for that, but when I added to my cart, the price was either 29 or 37 USD depending on bit rate. Has anyone else had success here?

Maybe it will show up at Arkiv or Amazon soon. Better yet, maybe Paul will be in my town again and I can by it off his table with an autograph!
