Any One Tried This Version of Bach Violin Sonata BWV1001-1006

Hi Guys,

I am looking for music sheet for Bach Violin Sonatas and Suites BWV1001-1006 arranged for Guitar

I found one on Amazon, please see below link:

So has anyone tried this version? And is it good for practicing?

Hard to tell with the censored link. Who transcribed them? There aren't that many complete sets, so I'm guessing it's Walter Despalj? If so, they are pretty good. Not everyone will like the added notes, and some of the fingerings didn't work for me, but those are easy to change.

I'm not sure they make for good "practicing"! One should be committed to learning them as musical masterpieces, not for building technique. Anyway, one needs tons of technique to even attempt them!
