I have big problems with the new format. Although I clearded the browser history of both available browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox) the old format with unreadable sites is appearing again and again. No way to get a clear version of delcamp on my computer, and even the IT expert next door is a bit helpless.

Cache and history are two different things. :) Can you share a screenshot?

Yes, finally I learned it: I had to push buttons Control + R. It's working now.

Anyone having problems with the android app?
If I clear the cache (of my password manager) I'll lose all my logins and passwords ... Very aggravating.
But ... I guess I could delete the whole password manager from the phone, then re-install and sync from the net?
Put down the bagpipes ...
... and no one gets hurt.

I kept looking in each day, kept seeing the same mess. Finally an IT colleague at work suggested the cache hard refresh, and it worked. I couldn't see anything well enough to realize that this was suggested in another thread.

An observation on the new appearance: many of us are hardwired to interpret "red" as a danger sign, warning sign, whatever. It conveys a sense of urgency to it. The new setup appears to red-flag ALL unread posts, giving the subliminal message of EVERYTHING IS URGENT. Which obviously it is not.

I find I cannot physically spend as much time looking at the unread board lists, because I can sense my anxiety and adrenaline increasing, most likely just from seeing all these red warning flags. So my DC Forum time has been reduced a good margin as a result. Maybe that's not so bad in some respects....

On my tablet, restarting it worked (full shut down > restart). Hope it works.

The forced refresh of the browser cache worked just fine for me.

I havent done anything yet and it seems to be working properly. Is it absolutely necessary to clear the cache?

Cache has a time to live or expiration date. The cache probably expired in the meantime and your browser fetched a new updated copy of the style files.

Yes, re the above: yesterday everything appeared normal, didn't have to clean the cache/lose passwords, etc. Yay!

I haven't had any problems with the updated version so far. I got notifications in advance, thank you!

It seems after the site software update, there is an annoying blue popup box on the bottom of the page which takes up a little less than 1/3 of the screen on my Android phone that says: "This site uses cookies" with click buttons of "learn more" and "got it"." I have clicked both hoping it'd go away but it keeps popping up. I have deleted all board cookies but it does not help. What do I have to do to get rid of this annoying pop up? I have a screenshot of it I can post later if needed.

Not sure why clicking on it doesn't dismiss it, but keep in mind that clearing your cookies *will* bring it back, as the site uses cookies to "know" whether it has shown it before or not.
