From this week's Spectator review :

"It is an unexpected pleasure when fiction has a soundtrack to accompany the work of reviewing. H(A)PPY is ‘best enjoyed in conjunction with Agustin Barrios: The Complete Historical Guitar Recordings’, Nicola Barker advises before her text gets underway."

Thank you for posting this. I meant to post something similar when a review appeared in the Guardian but never got round to it.

Am I the only one who can't read and listen to music at the same time then?

Well, what with this week marking the 73rd anniversary of Barrios' death (7 August 1944), it seemed appropriate that I order a copy. Will report back once it arrives from UK, apparently it's not available from USA sellers.
