Yasuji Ohagi and his Guitar

Post by rojarosguitar » Sat Oct 07, 2017 11:23 am

Just heard some YT stuff with Yasugi Ohagi ... I quite liked it.

Does anybody know by accident what guitar he's playing (looks french judging by the shape of the head).

I've only seen a rather poor quality utube clip but that head shape certainly looks Bouchet or very similar. Then again virtually anyone can produce that head shape.

In Ohagi's video of "Sol de Diciembre", it certainly looks like a Robert Bouchet guitar in every respect: the headstock, rosette, and bridge tie block are identical (to my eyes), plus, at some moments, you can get the tiniest glimpse of the edge of what clearly appears to be Bouchet's fancy label inside the guitar.
