Vintage spruce day

Post by Contreras » Mon Oct 09, 2017 12:47 pm

Having nursed my serious case of SAS (a highly specific variant of GAS) most of my life, I am going out on a limb to say I'm permanently cured, thanks to a lovely lady in New York who made it happen for me.
My beautiful 1929 Francisco Simplicio arrived today and it's everything I expected and hoped for.

Sounds sublime ... and I haven't even put my favorite strings on yet!

Cuban mahogany ... Otherwise I'd have had to jump through hoops to get it here

Did you get from Beverly? I was there a couple of weeks ago and she really had some fine guitars. I ended up buying one!

I'll be interested to hear what you think about the sound of mahogany. Lovely guitar you have there!

I played that guitar at the recent festival in San Luis Obispo. It is in good condition. Congrats Mr C, make it sing ( and take good care)
