A Stenzel on a German Auction Site

Post by rojarosguitar » Wed Nov 29, 2017 1:53 pm

For dear forum members in Europe: There is a Sebastian Stenzel guitar on the (in)famous auction site / German section. Ooops, it happens to be one of my Stenzels ... I'm not sure if I'm not going to withdraw that auction

Ah, the enhanced timber version. Looks gorgeous, and I am sure it sounds gorgeous too. Good luck with the sale.

Beautiful guitar! I wonder though, what could be better than a Stenzel built for you?

@Basicdoan: quit likely nothing; but I need some money and I feel that this guitar sounds better in every professionals' hands than in my ... it's (if that exists), too good for me. And besides I bought recently a spruce/quilted maple Stenzel, and I like it even better ... Anyway, I might change my mind and withdraw the auction; it's maybe just a momentary mood.

Ah! Another Stengel built for you, of course. A nice problem to have, if there’s such a thing.

Nope, it wasn't built for me, it was a guitar bought by somebody who wanted to sell his Rohe to finance this one, but he could not achieve the price he imagined to be able to, so he brought the guitar back. Then this guitar came to my house together with two or three other, newly made, Stenzel guitars for taking pictures (my son does all the photography work for Stenzel), and I liked it so much I took the leap...
