Looking for a new tune

Post by razz » Sat Jan 06, 2018 7:11 pm

Happy New Year everyone.

Please tell me about a piece that you found easy to learn (not sure there is such a thing) and you like how it sounds. Preferably one about 2.5 to 3.5 minutes long.

Many thanks

I suggest Modern Times:The Complete Series for Guitar
My old edition was published by Chanterelle. Robert Brightmore edited this collection of 60 contemporary pieces. They are well worth every penny, and it will be very hard not to find a playable piece that becomes the new best friend in your CG repertoire.

Are you looking for easy to learn or easy to play?

Per-Olov Kindgren's, "All The Things You Are" is fairly easy to learn, and I think sounds good.
2017 Jason Wolverton spruce/maple, 640, "Luz Blanca"
2016 Kenny Hill New World Estudio 640, cedar
2015 Kenny Hill Performance 640, C/IR
