I am a Year 01 student, and I am working through that material. But when I am not focusing on those assignments, I am working on F. Sor's Op. 60 (Just began Study #3). I am thinking that I should stop at #3, then work on the first 3 pieces of both Op.31 and Op.35. No special reason to that order, only that I believe these pieces to be within my current skill set.

El Negrito, by Antonio Lauro.
A beautiful piece, and quite a workout for the left hand!

I'm working on this piece too. I kind of learned it playing from sheet music a few years ago but never managed to play it without errors. So I'm trying Larry McDonald's segment practise on it.

Trying to play through the estudios sencillos by Leo Brouwer. What a genius.

Started on Serenata Morisca by Barrios in my lesson today. It's going to be an interesting journey.

I am working on Rainbow’s Since You’ve Been Gone. My son is coming down from Washington next week with his vintage Stratocaster and he wants me to teach it to him. I just started today, and it’s the first time I’ve played my electric in about 4 months, other than to test some effects pedals.

I am also working on an Aguado study to teach Him next week too. I don’t know the number. It’s the Arpeggio one in A minor. He doesn’t get much time to play as he is busy in the military.
