My meditation for oboe and guitar

Is here on the page for Score Exchange.

See what you think

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated

Press the mp3 button to hear it - using VST instruments, which are fairly close to the real thing, for demonstration purposes.

I like it. I find some of the harmonies difficult to reconcile but this could be me since my harmonic ear is not great. The vst guitar is surprisingly good.

Beautiful composition and guitar playing! In some parts I thought it was a piano playing. Nice tone and sustain! Is that the D'Ammassa?

That has all been done by a computer simulation - the oboe and the guitar. I used the East West Gypsy classical guitar sample, which you can google about if you are interested. It was all triggered by a midi file in Cubase.

Arhhh ok, I missed the part about VST instruments, not know what it is. Anyway, that's a pretty good simulation, much better than the midi instruments that I've heard.

I like it.

The syncopated melody makes me want to hear a little more of a Latin feel to the guitar accompaniment, at least some of the time.
