Very pretty piece, Lucy. Congratulations. I couldn't find the section "Members Announcements" anywhere. How do I get your CD? I'd love to have it.

Thanks very much Armando! :)

The Members Announcements section is a sub-forum of Introduce Yourself, which itself is a sub-forum of Public Space. The Delcamp forum is a very large site!

Thank you, Nina. I just bought your CD.
Interesting: the Big River would not let me pay with a USA credit card for an item bought in the UK.
So It's coming through snail mail. Oh well, ....

Thank you so much! :)

I feel I should mention that someone else from the US encountered a similar problem. I don't know why. Perhaps people need to register with the Big River.UK? If you had wanted to download it, you can also get it from the Big River.COM. I'm not sure why they make it so complicated!!

I'm only selling downloads on various third party sites, but if you're happy receiving it that way, I think you may be able to cancel your payment through PayPal. Not 100% sure, though. However, if you do want a disc, then just leave your order in place and I'll despatch it off to you.

Thank you Nina. I'm glad I posted this issue for others to know about this. But really, it's no big deal to me. I will be nice to have your CD!

Are you still in Jason Vieaux's online classes? I dropped it quite sometime ago. When I joined in, Jason's feedback took no longer than 10 days. When I abandoned that site, students were waiting for over a month and a half to get a 3 or 5 minute response!

Well, I'm in the middle of redesigning my website, so I think I might have to succinctly point out that the Big River link is for the UK site only!

Regarding Jason's online guitar school, I dropped out at least two years ago, so it was before the response time got unacceptable. However, I've since read on these boards how slow it has got. Apparently, they have now taken on someone else to help Jason, with the workload! He did give me some great advice, though, especially about crafting rubato, (as he called it).

The main reason I dropped out was because I happened to meet someone who became a really good teacher to me. And this person also strongly encouraged me to take my guitar forward and try and make something of it, professionally. Hence, the CD and I've further plans for the New Year too. The biggest thing I'm looking forward to doing is a lunchtime concert in an abbey! Who knows where it will all end up?

Thanks for the recording! I enjoyed it very much. I wasn't familiar with the tune, although this was apparently from a well-known opera.
