It would've been perfect if the app can play the mp3 files that members posted. Is this only me?
Life is short and there are so many music to be played.

Did you get the free version?
I believe the free version is limited. It even says that it does not allow you to respond to posts.
I am checking it out right now.

It appears that accessing the forum on a smart phone, without the app, is even better, on my phone anyways.
I am able to see all posts, reply if need be, see all embedded videos.
The only thing I could not do was to play the mp3 recordings.

I have an HTC Desire Android, with US Cellular.

Hi Florentin,

No. I am using the paid version and this reply is from the app. If my iPhone browser could play mp3 files of delcamp website, I wouldn't have bought this app. Now I need a refund. :(

I can play music files from other websites, so it must be the bulletin board software (PHPBB ??) that's making difference. If the system admin can do some research, that will be appreciated.

No, I've had the same problem on my iPhone and iPad. Also, I normally navigate with our forum by through my email notifications so I quickly abandoned using Tapatalk since I usually don't have the patience to troubleshoot issues like this.

I did take a look at their settings but didn't see anything concerning accessing MP3s.

I have done some tests on mp3 files here on the forum. I can play most of them (no app, just using Safari) and I have an iPhone 4 (not the 4s).
I think there may be some back compatibility issues with the new 4s browser version.
Just using Safari, I can answer posts, play videos (embedded youtube) and do everything I normally do on the forum, but it is a pain typing and navigating because everything is so small and I prefer a full size keyboard.

My old iPhone (3G) couldn't play so I hoped my new iPhone 4S could, but it didn't. Thats why I bought Tapatalk but that didn't help either.

Vito,
How about your safari brower? Can you play mp3 files? Which version of iPhone/Safari is that?

Safari doesn't seem to be the issue since it works on my Mac. However, MP3's do not work on my older version on iPhone and my newest version on iPad2.

From a pivate message, Kristian Nøhr mentioned that he is also on the same boat. His iPhone can't play mp3 files.

Does he also have the 4s? Or does he have a 4?

I was talking about the safari browser on iPhone. So far, lagartija is the only one who can play mp3 files on her iPhone4. 3G, 3GS, 4S and some Android can not.

I think Adobe Flash may be the issue. It is not allowed on iPhone or iPAD, but is, I believe, allowed on Mac.
