Picado 60 vs. Córdoba C9

Post by nmshu1 » Sat May 20, 2017 5:31 pm

Is it worth to upgrade from Córdoba C9 to Picado 60 ? I did not play them at the same location and at the same time. Does Picado recommend 60 model by using D'Addario EJ45? I know Córdoba C9 being recommended by Savarez 500CJ.

Looking at your guitar collection, I would say no. If the Córdoba C9 was your only guitar, then yes :)

The Cordoba 'target sound' impresses me as rich/warm - I adore the C12 lattice. The Picado 54 has much more clarification of the bass, clearer across all of the strings, but in no way shrill - dark/clear.
