L Luthier Guitars

Post by Thura2017 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 12:41 am

Hi, I wonder if someone in this forum happens to know about the L Luthier classical guitars? I am quite interested in their top model signature 08. But there is very little information about that brand. Thanks in advance for your kind inputs. :merci:

Never heard of them. According to their website, they were founded by an experienced guitar teacher in Malaysia. The website was first registered in 2010. First youtube videos I can see are about 4 years old. On there site there is no mention of where the instruments are made so I would assume that they are made in China by one of the bigger suppliers. This can result in very good value instruments. Only way to find out for sure is try one. Judging by the list in your signature, you have plenty to compare it against. :-)

Hello simonm,
Thank you for your kind input. I have tried it bought it already. It is a used one but very good condition with only small dents here and there. To my surprise, the build quality is awesome and on par with Picado 60. It looks great and sounds great as well. Again on par with Picado 60 to my ear. But the body lower bout is a little big smaller than the typical Spanish guitars. So I can put it in my signature.
