I have received my KH Player Spruce 615. Do you have any recommendations on strings that you like on this guitar?

I had a 2015 Spruce Player (650 scale though) and my favorite strings were:
- D'Addario EJ45
- Aranjuez Classic Silver 300
- Daniel Mari #100p MT
- La Bella 2001 M trebles (used basses from other sets, never really found a favorite pairing)

Thanks. I think the factory strings are EJ45s.

On my 650 Player spruce, I have great luck with EJ45s with a Savarez Alliance 3rd. Since yours is a shorter scale, you might try the EJ46. Direct from the Hill shop, guitars come with EJ46s

I emailed New World about the original strings for my 650. They replied (I think it was Kenny Hill himself) saying EJ46, but that could have just been my case.

EDIT: MrF1 beat me to it, mentioning EJ46. Likewise, I still use EJ45 and replace the 3rd string with a carbon.

You might try the medium Savarez Cantiga basses. They pair well with the LaBella 2001 and the Mari. They also pair well with Dogal Diamante. PeterMC61 recommended them and I very found they pair well with the various trebles that I have tried.

Not to hijack the thread with string talk, but I had tried Cantiga (and Corum as well) and felt they were very high quality basses. Something didn't grab me though, about the pairing as a whole.
