D02 Lesson 7, 2015-16,4/4 two players single voice,3 days

Post by Zafar Haq » Wed Mar 02, 2016 1:15 pm

Hi,Classmates,
My ears are not trained, just listen and identify individual notes. So, I have more comfortable method to learn and play this game.
I choose "A Minor melodic scale" to play my 4 notes.
First, I explain what this scale is and how it is derived.
Lets look at "C major scale" and its notes.
C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C
We know no sharps and flats in C maj scale.
To create relative A Minor natural scale, you choose 6th degree note from C-Maj scale and write rest of notes after A.
A-B-C-D-E-F-G-A This scale is called A Minor natural scale. No sharps no flats.
To convert this A-Minor natural scale to A-Minor Melodic scale, you raise half step both to 6th and 7th degree.
A-Minor melodic scale will be written as A-B-C-D-E-F#G#A.This scale will be played in ascending order. To play the descending part,we will play A-Minor natural scale. To summarize .
These are the notes in ascending and descending altogether to be included in the game progression.
"A-B-C-D-E-F#-G#-G-F-E-D-C-B-A" It begins with tonic note"A" and ends with note "A".
I will wait for another player to agree and we two player begin our game by posting notes and mp3 audio files here. :)

Hello Zafar Haq. I came to this thread to listen but discovered there was no second player yet. I guess it wouldn't a bad idea for me to attempt. Let's play.

Lovemore Nanjaya.
