D03 X players 2 voices 1 measure

Post by Håvard.Bergene » Tue Apr 02, 2013 7:10 pm

I invite all D03 students to take part in this game. (If no D03 students has posted for one week, other players may join)
Rules:
-one measure on each turn.
-3/4 beats per measure
-no notes with duration shorter than 1/4
-one player may not post two subsequent measures
-max 2 measures per week per player
-make a post if you intend to take the next turn, and post a recording within 6 hours.

I'll update the score now and then. Feel free to do it yourself, but posting your recording is more important!

Isn't this supposed to be played without the score? Playing by ear would be much more challenging :)

The next measure is a slight variation of measure #3:

:merci: Pentti and Marian for bringing new life to this game :) Making a score is optional, and I agree that it is good to practice playing by ear :bravo:

Nice game! My turn. I've added a bar to the score, actually 2 bars which sort of completes the phrase musically (8 bars). However, the OP may remove the 8th bar to keep with the rules. I've placed finger markings on bar 7 to make it more interesting :)

Hi Everyone,

Here's my continuation of the music game. Sorry, the playing is not so smooth.

Here is my contribution to the Musical Game. I didn't repeat the first measure and added on where Win left off.
I think my guitar is slightly out of tune??? Sorry about that.... I like the little tune that is being created.

Thanks.

Win & Catherine, nice touches. Could someone having the software update the score? This piece is coming out very nicely... perhaps we can name it something? :)

A very nice piece so far!
I'll upload my contribution tonight.

But surely it's D major and not C major?

:bravo: William, Satyajit, Win, Chaterine and George. Good additions. :merci: all. Some wrong notes in your recording, George, but I really like your addition, and thanks for recognizing the key signature. As game-starter I suggest this is the start of the end. I've written out the sheet of what has been done so far, added a repeat sign for the first part, and a modified start as the ending part. I have written a suggestion for the rest of the middle part as well, but I'll leave it blank in case someone will join the game after lesson 7 is ended. Deadline is depending on the activity in the game.
It is ok (but not mandatory) to record starting at bar (9/)10 from now on to make it easier. Name suggestions would be nice :) I'll make a recording when the piece is finished, so if you want to listen to the ending, play it yourself :D :bye: for now.

PS If you notice any errors in the sheet, please tell. Also modifications to already written bars may be suggested.
