Polifero de Oro " Often refer to his Reynoso guitar as "Duende effect magical" Now my guitar is a little over six months and I can attest to the Duende effect just magical.
Poli was better at describing what was happening to his guitar than me;
" I had a guitar built for me by a luthier-reynoso who has none of the world renown of our celebrated builder-ruck, at a fraction of the cost of what I spent on this guitar that I am trying to sell. When I first heard this guitar played by the luthier-reynoso, I could not believe my ears! I thought I was in paradise! Over the last 9 months this guitar has continued to get better, its basses having gained this wonderful depth, its trebles, which were already so sweet, just developing even more. In my humble opinion, this luthier should be charging a LOT more for his guitars (which I would happily pay!); but of course he cannot because he is not (yet!) in the stratosphere of luthiery and consequently does not have the luxury of resting on his laurels, sitting back and collecting tribute from his rich clients. So, I am well acquainted with how guitars--especially spruce guitars--develop over time."
