Hi Fred,

I can only imagine how beautiful the guitar looks and sounds in person!

Excellent playing by David Galvez, too.

Best regards,
Monteverde

A beauty! Enjoy. :) What strings are you using on her, as a matter of interest?
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

The guitar sounds nice but, TBH, it's the great playing that impresses me most. Well done Sir!

A lovely compilation video showing the versatility of the instrument. You must be happy.

That is now the third spruce/cypress guitar that Richard has made videos of. They sound remarkably similar in tone and character. It is great that Richard is achieving such consistency.

Peter

Hi,
In person is very impressive and in recordings uploaded to the Net we loose a good percent of the quality of the sound.

Update about my Reynoso,

I will have a new video the next month to show the progress of the guitar as I'm playing since I got it.

I like your way better than looping the free end again over the same vertical segment of the string. I have never seen any slippage with the latter method, but yours look tidier.

Changing strings is so easy and no worries about the 1st string hitting the top...

Polifero de Oro " Often refer to his Reynoso guitar as "Duende effect magical" Now my guitar is a little over six months and I can attest to the Duende effect just magical.

Poli was better at describing what was happening to his guitar than me;

" I had a guitar built for me by a luthier-reynoso who has none of the world renown of our celebrated builder-ruck, at a fraction of the cost of what I spent on this guitar that I am trying to sell. When I first heard this guitar played by the luthier-reynoso, I could not believe my ears! I thought I was in paradise! Over the last 9 months this guitar has continued to get better, its basses having gained this wonderful depth, its trebles, which were already so sweet, just developing even more. In my humble opinion, this luthier should be charging a LOT more for his guitars (which I would happily pay!); but of course he cannot because he is not (yet!) in the stratosphere of luthiery and consequently does not have the luxury of resting on his laurels, sitting back and collecting tribute from his rich clients. So, I am well acquainted with how guitars--especially spruce guitars--develop over time."
