Thanks Jon!
The pattern is indeed my own...though it's hard to lay claim to a couple of hexagons.

Wonderful guitar. Cedar with maple seems to be a more and more fashionable combination.

Very nice! I would be very interested to hear a sound-bite from this guitar, as the bracing looks interesting.

I like the styling! Very original.

Thanks zupfgeiger, thanks Fred, and thanks Martin!

I brought this one with me to the GFA this year and it pretty quickly found a new home. I know the artist that purchased it is planning on some recording so hopefully we'll see something soon.

In the interim I shot a quick and dirty iPhone capture of my friend Daniel Karrasch in moment of quiet at the Montreal International Classical Guitar Competition...the guitar was fresh as your average daisy and I just sort of propped the phone on my table so it sort of is what it is.

I don't want to be off topic but with Jeremy's permission I post two pics of another cedar/maple guitar which is quite stunning. It's an instrument built by Andrea Tacchi for the Israeli guitarist Tal Hurwitz. As Tal told me he loves this unusual guitar for its sound and its looks.

Beautiful! Very clean work. And very interesting the soundboard bracing. We want a sound example!
