new woods arrival

Post by Jose Marques » Thu Jun 15, 2017 1:32 pm

Well like many other luthiers i decided to test some woods, some very known of all and some not so know

this time i decided, Ziricote, Walnut and Ambrosia Maple

here i will put some impressions in future, but for now i just wish to show you all and if you have opinions about this woods please share with us all.

Ziricote is very known in classical guitar building sush as walnut i believe, but ambrosia maple i rarelly saw one guitar made of this wood.Maybe Belucci guitars are the only one that i saw (i'm talking about classical guitar)

this wood has some bug holes, wen i brouth i knew already, but even with that holes i like the way it looks.

Nice ! I think I'm dealing with the same supplier :)
I have a similar set of walnut which is about to get a guitar rightnow.

Ziricote is awesome but way to costly for me. Wish you good luck the next projects !
