Glad you're enjoying the guitar Mike. Steve posted some samples of my "Solidarity" on his blog. The playing (mine) leaves a little to be desired, but the sounds I get out of Steve's "synthesis of the forest" are wonderful. Let me know what you think. http://ganzguitars.com/wp/index.php/201 ... rd-videos/
All this time I thought I was making music; it was making me.

Thanks for that Rick - I really enjoyed it. I've just started banging my head against the wall on UddNoviembre myself - beautiful piece. Steve's blog implies you're new to the PNW...(?). I see you're noted as in Blaine. I'm born and raised in North Vancouver myself. Dad was a military man and loved his marching, be it on the parade square or through the trails of our North Shore mountains. So of course many of my early memories are of getting soggy and muddy on the trail, then hot showers and Star Trek re-runs at 5 followed by World of Disney with Sunday TV dinners at 6 (the foil trays with the apple cobbler). On Saturdays we fished with Grandad. The trees, the rain, the sun when it comes out - I could never leave... I see you're into fly-fishing - we share that too.

Ya I grew up in the ANE (Atlantic NE) in New Hampshire. We lived in SoCal for 35 years. Blaine is more homelike to me, sans windchill factor. We came here two years ago a day in November, the inspiration for learning the piece. I’ve always loved it and I found it easier than I thought it would be to learn.
