Hello to the Professional Luthiers group,

I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin and build guitars for professional players and people who love to play the guitar for fun. I would like to join the forum if you will have me?

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Dan,

I'm afraid the forum's professional luthiers group is specific to makers of classical guitars, and although yours look like very fine instruments, they do have pick-ups and so don't qualify as classical under M. Delcamp's definition. So that means we won't be able to add you to the group list and change your username colour, but you are of course still very welcome to participate in discussions with other luthiers here, where your skills and knowledge in acoustic guitar building will be no less appreciated.

Best wishes,
Geoff

Hi GeoffB,

That is certainly understandable and not a problem. I am beginning to build classical guitars and will list them on my website when finished, perhaps then I could become a member of the forum.

Thanks for your consideration!
Dan

Yes. Dan, do apply again when you meet the criteria. In the meantime, as I said, you are still free to post in the Luthiers forum, even if you're not in the specific usergroup yet.

Best wishes,
Geoff

Good Evening.

I would like to be member of this group. My Name is Leonardo Orsi.

Despite being young and considering myself an apprentice, and a student, I build professional grade instruments, and had build them by request of amateur, and professional musicians.

I obviusly will understand if this is rejected.

Thank you

Glad to be here. I think I've talked to some of you on other forums over the years. I had someone bring one of Mr. Lister's guitars into my shop recently. A wonderful instrument.

Hi Mick,

Good to see you here, and thanks for the kind words!

One of the other moderators will add you to the luthier's group in due course, and change your username to your own full name, which will then appear in purple so that other members will know that you are a professional luthier.

Best wishes,

James

If someone could switch me over to a professional luthier please.

My full name is Adam Dean, though my guitars are made under A.S Dean, either is fine for me.

Thanks
