Greetings. Well, my introductory post said it all. I do make a living selling guitars that I make, flamenco and classical. I am located in Seattle, WA, USA. Some of my guitars are sold through Guitar Salon International.

Count me in as a professional, though I have considered changing careers to pizza delivery in order to increase my income (;->)...

Cheers,

Brian Burns

Please add me. I'm building my first classical, but have been building and selling steel string guitars for 12 years. Around 1975, I started out doing repairs and building banjos, but I'm alright now.

Please add me to the group. I began my began my guitar making career in 1979 after studying under and then working for the late luthier Bozo Podunavac. After pursuing other professions on and off, I began building and selling my instruments again in 2010. I've mainly built steel stringed instruments, but lately have begun building several classicals. Thank you.

Being pretty new to this forum, I have a couple of questions. First, will there be (or is there already) a special forum accessible only to members of this group? If so, how could I access it? Or does being a member of this group just make it easier to seek out and communicate with other luthiers? Thanks.

It's just color coding: this way you know the status of fellow members: luthiers, guitarists, teachers, concert performers, composers or moderators.
Reedition Domingo Esteso by Conde Hermanos 2004; Kenny Hill, model Barcelona 2001
"While you try to master classical guitar, prepare for a slave's life: the guitar will forever be your master and you its slave".
