"A piece by any other title..."

I am guessing you used the Karl Scheit edition, Universal Editions? The actual name of this one is "Lady Laiton's Almain", though Noad called it "Lady Hammond's Almain".

Nice job, by any title!

It is Lady Laiton's Almain also in my Lute original book of Dowlands work.
Take care, Karl Scheit does not allow to play the transcriptions on youtube. At Dowlands work this is ridiculous of course but sometimes they intentionally take different/unusual titles to identify them.
In my scores all of the Karl Scheit edition is banned.

But anyway a good job!

I would not be too concerned, Karl Scheit is long dead. There is a new consortium of arrangers working at Universal Editions who use the title "Neue Karl Scheit", but this particular one is quite old, and was done by the real person.

Still, you may want to change the title simply so that people who are looking for the Lady Laiton Almain can more readily find your interpretation.

Thanks for your comments.

I have changed the title.

The arrangement is from Eythor Thorlaksson's website.

Sorry you are right. I meant the UE. They are banned in my score collection...
