Sanz, Gaspar - Espanolete

Post by mike.janel » Tue Mar 21, 2017 9:05 pm

This recording was done when I was trying a new set of strings. Taken right off my mobile phone, it had something I liked, so I edited some photos of my last vacation around it.
The recorded sound is not processed.
Hope you enjoy.

Very nice. Amazing that one can record so decently with a mobile phone.

The recording did not pick up the basses bottoms.
Other than that, my phone (LG G3) did a decent job.
I assume more modern, high end phones, using the right software, can become an acceptable home studio recording device.

When I played it, the basses sounded just fine....
I just have it playing through my MacBook Pro and some cheap logitech speakers.

Nice job! :appauso:

Thanks.
May be I should record from my phone more often :D

Seriously, sometimes not trying too hard "to sound your best" creates something more natural.

Nice sounding, the treble notes did come across with great clarity. Which guitar did you play it on? Nice sounding guitar too.

Thanks.
I used the Amalio Burguet 3M (Cedar).
I think that the Pepe Romero strings and the recording conditions had a lot to do with that.
This guitar is very nice, but I would not say that it is particulary clear.
