a real (simple) improvisation about "la tarantela" de gaspar sanz from "istruccion de musica sobre la guitarra espagnola" p. 4

intro: moresca en 5/4
then tarantelas with improvisations and diminuitions.

What kind of a guitar are you playing? It looks a lot like the Mexican guitarrons, except they have rounded backs.

i've found this strange kind of guitar in a village-fair in my country (near milano). it's a sardinian guitar an instrument of the middle of the 20 sec i think...
in this photograph you can see the great american guitarist stefan grossmann with one of this guitars. ... 0014469259
it sounds like a american martin guitar but is tuned a third or a fourth under the normal guitar.
i find it very interesting on playing early-baroque music...
