Sanz, Gaspar - Folias - Ukulele

Postby crisscross » Wed Jun 18, 2014 10:49 am

To test the sound of my new concert-size ukulele, I recorded Sanz' Variations on the famous "La Folia"-theme.Well, my patience kind of left me during the fourth variation so I simply strummed the implied chords. https://soundcloud.com/tele1310/folias

Hi Crisscross,

I enjoyed your ukulele version of Sanz. Thanks for sharing with us here! Happy plucking (and strumming!) in the future...

Kind Regards,

That was really nice, crisscross. :) I think Sanz sounds great on uke. Do you have Rob MacKillop's Sanz book?

What uke did you get?

BTW, my cat could be yours' twin sister, right down to the little black nose, except the mask over her eyes is a mirror image.

Thanks jhapgood, thanks JQ. Yes I have the Sanz-Book by MacKillop. He does some interesting Campanella-Scales. The Cocert uke I got is a "ukuMele", the shop-brand by a store in Berlin. It is solid mahagony. I like it so far, especially considering it wasn't that pricey.
Well, my cat has some weight problems he could use some exercise, but he's kind of lazy...
