Hey, am I wrong, or did Weiss never use cross string trills? That's your own interpretation, right? Also, I believe it was on the Allemande that I noticed you don't use the original slurs. Not that it's bad, just something I noticed.

addendum - This is so nit picking I almost hesitate to mention it. But, I remember hearing once that the silence at the end of a piece is part of the piece. That noise and credit at the end of your videos kind of ruins the whole experience of letting my mind soak in what I just heard. It's kind of harsh.

Thanks for the input soltirefa! I do recall reading somewhere about no cross string trills in Weiss. To answer your question, yes and yes :D . I really like the way cross string trills sound and I have been trying to develop and improve my technique.

I have been meaning to purchase Nigel North's book on baroque performance practice. I haven't gotten around to it, but I'm sure it will have a lot of great information about baroque music.

I was thinking about making one video with all the movements after I finished recording the gigue. It may be a good idea to put the logo in the beginning.
