Weiss, S. L. - Gavotte in D Major - Baroque lute Video

A Gavotte in D Major from the Grussau manuscript (PL-WU RM 4136 2003). Listed as possibly by Sylvius Leopold Weiss and assigned the provisional sonata number SW90. Not many Gavottes by SL Weiss and I'm not convinced this is by him. MANY errors in the MS of note position and notes to the bar requiring mulitple corrections (some of course are just best guesses). Performed by Daniel Shoskes on a 13 course Rutherford baroque lute.

Thanks for sharing, neat piece. Personally, I'd be very surprised if its the work of Weiss, but I guess we will never know.
