Anyway, I think even simpler "study" pieces than this are worthy of performing, especially if you have spent a lot of time with them and really worked out the details that make them come alive as pieces of music rather than just studies.
And, earlier this year I attended a performance by a professor at one of the universities nearby, and he played this for his encore. Actually I think you played it even nicer than he did

And yes, I agree, many of the guitar "studies" are worthy of performing. A lot of them are quite lovely miniatures.
I think in years gone by, Sor used to be more often performed. That kind of thing seems to have been replaced by larger scale works, especially big romantic ones and some contemporary repertoire, from what I've heard recently.
