Yes, it is a good slur workout, but not nearly the killer that the Villa Lobos etude, the number of which I can't recall off the top of my head (3?) is!

if you're thinking the one in A, it is #2
kind of a 'cousin' of Carcassi's #25 from this very opus

I just looked--it's #3 in D I was thinking of. Maybe the ultimate slur etude!

Very good playing. Been listening to your postings of the Carcassi studies,as I'm reviewing them myself. Good stuff,you play expressively and with personality. Nice one! :D
