Carcassi, Matteo - op.60/01 Etude - D05 Video

Post by optichero » Wed Feb 12, 2014 8:55 am

Hi all,
my first video post here. Study no 1. I usually focus a lot more on the technique and the interpretation. Sometimes I will slow down in my playing. Feel free to drop me comments. I recorded a few more studies which I will share soon. I hope you enjoy this.

:bravo: Excellent in every way. You have a great tone, and I really like the way you connect the notes in such legato and smooth phrases.

:casque: Great playing! Good control and great tone. One thing that came to my mind, maybe you could make a bit longer phrases, the constant sostenuto of the beat 1 makes it a bit restless and disturbs the flow, although I see your point in doing it. Think more of the 4 bar long phrases.

Just my 2 cents.

Great playing! Can you tell us how you got the black background in your video? :)

regarding the back drop, it is really just a piece of dark curtain. I am seated about say 3-4 feet away from the curtain.
