Hey all, so here's a new video that I uploaded as part of my Student Repertoire Video Series on YouTube. This Caprice is from Carcassi's method, Op 59. At the end of the book, there are 50 pieces that are included which give the player the ability to put to practice the skills and concepts developed over the course of his method.
As you can probably tell, this piece makes use of the right hand arpeggio pattern PIMIAIMI, much like Giuliani's Allegro Op. 50 No 13. In fact, I teach this piece after the Giuliani, as it's a bit longer and the left hand has a bit more challenges to it.
Oh yeah, I don't know why YouTube added an extra 15 seconds of blackness to the video at the end...oh well...
