Carulli, Ferdinando - Siciliana - Video

I know Sicilianos by Bach and Pergolesi and they are quite slow, so I first played Carulli's Siciliana at a slow tempo:

But it seemed to drag along a bit at this tempo, so I sped it up a little:

Now it's somewhere between a slow Sicliano and a jig, which I think is an appropriate tempo.

I prefer the slower tempo, it is designated as a Siciliana, not to be taken as a slow tarantella.

I am little late to comment on this but I just joined. Thanks for recommending this forum to me.
I liked both recordings but prefer the slower tempo. beautiful music to my ears.
