Carulli, Ferdinando - Fughetta - Duo

Post by Carnbo » Sun Sep 16, 2007 9:49 am

My partner and I just did a small recital for our local Fair Traide coffee shop, mainly short pieces.
This is the Fughetta by Carulli that we played. It was recorded live so it's "warts and all"

Great stuff Carnbo and partner... only one complaint... it was too short!
'Warts and all' is fine by me... well done, and thanks for the music

Thanks for the comments
Yes it's too short so we play it twice, I edited it down to one play.
I've been vainly looking for a companion piece for this and any suggestions would be welcome.

Hello Carnbo,

Congratulations! This is very pleasant indeed—thank you for the chance to hear it,

Best wishes, V :)

Carnbo,

Thanks for posting your recording. The Carulli Fughetta is a bit of a mystery to me. It most be part of a collection of short pieces that I am not familiar with. Does anyone know what opus number it comes from or where Carulli published it?
