Giuliani, Mauro - op.107 Variations on a Theme of Handel

Postby lucy » Sun Mar 08, 2015 2:26 pm

Hi All

Just thought I'd share this recording. It's from a performance exam, that I took, just before I went to university.

The variations are on Handel's famous Harmonious Blacksmith tune, but the first and fourth variations are missing, because of time constraints. (I had three other pieces to play).

Remember, it was "live". We even had a little audience!

Hope it's of interest.

Hi lucy,

Yes I am interested! Specially because right now I start to learn this beautiful piece.
You play it very good. Many times I heard this piece playing by other player but without 3rd variation. I even don't know that it exist.
Now when I start to learn I discover :) this variation and enjoy to play it. Of course, every variation is glad to play and glad to hear; great piece.

Best wishes, Bertran II
