Frary, Peter Kun - Prelude No. 8 "Omen" - Video

Post by Peter Frary » Mon Oct 30, 2017 4:54 pm

I wrote this little piece maybe 15 years ago but didn't play it until last year when I recorded it for YouTube. It was originally intended as part of a set of 10 immediate level student pieces but, alas, students weren't as keen on it as I had hoped. Hard to compete with Romanza...

Thanks for sharing, Peter. I like it and think it would be much more interesting to learn this than Romanza, but then I heard that one too often.
Regards, Bert

I like it, too. A keeper.

What kind of guitar is that?

Thanks guys for listening!

That strange black guitar is a Takamine LTD2012C. It's basically a Hirade TH90 classical with black finish! I spent much of my life playing solo dinner and bar gigs so I own a lot of electric-acoustic classical guitars. I used make fun of people with black guitars but ended up with one when our shop closed a few years back. It grew on me so I'm no longer ashamed to appear in public with it! The CoolTubes pickup is a real screamer but, of course, is not used in this video. I wrote a review of the guitar:
