There is an "attachments" box in the first post with a little "play" arrow that you click on.

Maybe this does not show up on your iPhone?

I think it must be the iPhone. Regular links and YT vids do show though. I'll try from my PC later tonight.

I like this little piece, in fact I think you should take the time to flesh it out into a much longer piece. It's a solid idea that you could take in any number of directions.
Very confident and clean playing and a beautiful sounding guitar.

That was a sweet moment. I liked the change in feel at :34 from the very pretty and consonant Am-Dm-G7-C ideas to a bit of dissonant exploration.

Hey, thanks everyone for your very kind comments!

Peter, when I listen to this recording all I hear are the imperfections in the playing! (they are fairly minor but I latch onto them) I need to get my left brain involved to figure out where to go next with this ditty.

Lawler, that's a good analysis. These little "ditties" all come from just noodling around on the guitar and see what "sticks". What caught my attention in this one when I first played it was the A/G# dissonance in the opening line. You are right, then it goes to a few measures of consonance, then ends with several measures of C/B dissonance.

Zoom H4n recorder with internal mics, reverb added outside of the Zoom.

Played on a 1992 Manuel Velazquez with spruce top and African Blackwood sides/back. I just put a set of D'Addario EJ45 normal tension nylon strings on the guitar for a little bit more mellow sound.

I wonder what that lovely piece would sound like played at a somewhat slower tempo.

Ramon, on my metronome it's played at about 108 bpm. What tempo would you like to hear it at? I can make another recording easily enough.....

I think it would be best Riffy at 106.5 bpm.

I'll have to change the string spacing to from 44.000 mm to 43.791 mm to accomplish that tempo!

I'll let you know tomorrow, but if you like the way it sounds, will you trade me the Velazquez for a genuine Esteban?
