Hi Jose, welcome to the class!
I watched your videos and find them great!
Exercise number 6: nothing to comment here, it's perfect.

Exercise number 40: a minor comment here: sometimes sounds from 2 strings overlap, if I understood the exercise correctly damping and plucking should happen simultaneously.

Malaguena: very enjoyable, thanks! Clean, crisp, no unwanted sounds, even tempo. My only minor complain is about measure 50 at 0:57. Expected: G#, B, E. You seem to play: D#, B, E.
Other than that it's a VERY good job! +1

Hi Andrei!
I had a hard time with exercise number 40 due to resonance of my guitar, because I was damping the strings, but the sound remained overlapping with the next note... you can notice this in the last note, which is damped but the sound remains.

And yes, played the wrong note in Malagueña, will fix that :)

Thanks for the comments.

Jose, one more comment: I noticed that you miss damps/mutes sometimes, like in measures 10, 12. Sorry for being so picky, but muting is a new technique for me, so now I pay special attention to it :)

Well done, Casper! Clearly some passages were easier to you than others. May I suggest that you concentrate your practice efforts on those parts that you find difficult? You had some reading mistakes, but that happens. You would also benefit from having the guitar at more upright position. Are you using a footstool? I noticed that when you played rest strokes with your i and m fingers you changed the angle of your wrist so that the fingers were perpendicular to strings. You should find a right hand position that allows you to play any fingers without moving your wrist.

Keep up the practice!

Very good. A few stumbles on Malguena, but good even speed and tone, will soon get there with practice.
I'm finding it quite difficult.

Yes it is.
Sounds very good. Even tone and speed. Lot of hiss so dificult to comment on damping which I find difficult to do consistently.

This is very rough, one take, complete with errors. I'll keep practicing as much as possible while catching up.

Submitting Lesson 2 exercises. Gave up trying to get a perfect take after more than ten tries. Starting to get hot spots on finger tips so have to stop for the day. What a shame because Malaguena is such a fun piece to play and it'll be cool to be able to play it withoit mistakes. Hoping motor skill will improve over time, in future lessons.
