[PDF] Anon. - Dejlig er jorden

Post by Sandan » Wed Dec 14, 2016 5:28 pm

Hi all!

Last year, one of our member. graceman, suggested this Christmas hymn for an arrangement. It is indeed a beautiful hymn with changing moving chords. I tried to incorporate the basses within my arranging skill limitation. I hope it will bring joys during the holiday for all of you.

Here, Sissel Kyrkjeboe (the Norwegian singer, looking young) sang it beautifully: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajMKOVjmsH0

Cheers

San

That's a beaut (the piece, I mean). With capo in 1st position you can play along with Sissel and the choir. I would use a few more open strings.

Hi Bert,

She is a beautiful woman with an angelic voice for sure.

Thank you for your feedback. I had a hard time to change the tef file into pdf file using lily.pond. The pdf file doesn't look nice, some half notes become quarter notes and the melodies were not too obvious.

Some measures have three chords changing with different basses and I want to keep them in tact within by limited skill. :(
