[PDF] Wikmanson, Johan - Gigue

Johan Wikmanson, 1753-1800, have composed a sonat for plucked instrument (cittern). One of the earliest solo composition for guitar-like instrument in Sweden.


But his first instrument were keyboardinstrument and here is a arrangement for guitar by me of a little piece named gigue.

A neat little gigue: thank you. Have you arranged anything else by Wikmanson? The rest of this cittern sonata, perhaps?

Thank you for the references. The dissertation looks interesting, and the scores - includng the facsimiles - are readable and playable.
