My Guitar, my only companion
In sorrow, in happiness, in trouble
Through my hands, fingers
From my heart
My guitar speaks for me
In every note, emotion comes
In every smile nor tears
I'm glad i have my guitar

Thanks for this transcription I've just hit upon. It provides some nice alternatives to the dropped D manuscript version I've been learning.

I've tried several arrangements of this piece. I bought one in drop D from Peo Kindgren. This one seems more straight forward than the drop D version. So I'll give it a try. Thanks for offering this piece. Mchele (simplelife) :merci:

Finally a clear arrangement on 2 pages, thank you!
The overlapping tones on Bar 10 is very nice, reminds me of Mudarra's Fantasie X performance by John Williams using open strings.

I incorporated quite a few of your alternatives to Noad's version and it makes some sections easier to play and just adds more to the piece. I especially love your
semi tone ran at the end.

Again, just great
Hans
Han W, Frederick Noad's book 2 version has an error on it, you probably noticed it but just incase, the 6th bar, the bass note should be a G# instead of G. (ahhh, how wonderful those Fred Noad's TV lessons, I wished he lived forever, fantastic teacher...)

I often noticed players content with just learning the Prelude but the entire suite is so amazing, especially Allemande and Courante...

Nice read Musikai, thank you!
