[PDF] Carcassi, Matteo - op.59 Prelude in Am

Postby Gerry » Thu Mar 13, 2008 6:07 am

I've had a go at notating this little prelude from Book 1 of Carcassi's guitar Method.

It was one of the first pieces I learnt; very short, but can sound quite dramatic.

Please let me know what you think of it.

Is the 3rd measure notated incorrectly, or am I missing something?

Thanks Cut. Some gremlin has chewed off part of the beam in bar 3. Will fix. Hopefully it's an obvious error which shouldn't inconvenience those who've downloaded already.

Hi Vesuvio

Cut pointed out an error in the notation for measure 3. I've fixed it now, so you might like to download the corrected version.

I actually downloaded it earlier and manually corrected it with my trusty "Sharpie". It's a very sweet little piece. Hmmm. Reminds me of a young lady I once..............nevermind!!

Thank you! I played this little piece at a show when i was a child, and then lost my partiture. I'm so happy I found it again! :)
