[PDF] Barrios Mangoré, Agustín - Danza Paraguaya No. 1

Post by musikprojekt » Sat Oct 09, 2010 3:58 pm

Hello forum,

inspired by the great performance of Pat Coldrick I have searched for the score. The one I found differed quite much form the version Pat has played. So, I set it myself. The course of the score is like Pat's one, the fingering my own's liking. :D

Hope you will enjoy it! Comments and critics are welcome ...

Regards, Marco.

Okay I checked him out on youtube and if your fingering follows that of Pat I think it worth the effort.

hi guys,if i can be of any help to you on my interpretation of danza paraguaya let me know.my version is one i have adapted to suit my style and is taken from many versions of this great piece.i strongly suggest that every player arranges a piece to suit themselves as long as it doesent take away from the essence of the music.regards pat

do you still have the other version? I think it may be similar to what Berta Rojas plays, it can be easily found on youtube (am I allowed to post a link of hers here? As I'm in doubt, I'll leave you the easy task of looking for it)

It's worth looking at, I think. She's from paraguay I guess, as is Agustin Barrios.
