Mordent,

Thank you for taking the time to work on this for us. A beautiful and interesting piece and the first time I have played Scottish music.

best regards,

Mark

This is a lovely piece of music.

I have been playing the version that plays by Scott Tennant.

I will try this version... Thanks!

Hi Tom,

Without any prejudice to Anon 's transcription, is there a way to get Scott Tennant 's transcription? (Scott like Scottish :D )
I saw it on YT trying a new 2011 Friederich and this song stays in my mind.
I must play it and think that catching it from the video must be a bit tricky for my skills..

All the best,

Jean-Luc

Yes, that is the one he plays with the Friederich.

It is q copyright version that we are not allowed to share in this forum.

I look forward to giving it a go. Have you done any other celtic songs for classical guitar?
Cheers

I noticed how well this piece can be used in demonstrating the characteristics of a guitar, so I am interested in different versions.

Thank you vpierref for your nice remarks.I hope the arrangement gives you some pleasure. I have noticed a small error in bar 14.(2nd. beat.) the "B" quaver should descend to A . not "G". My apologies to all.

Hey Mordent! I love what you did with the tab for Niel Gow's Lament. I was wondering if you could do a tab for this one as my guitar sheet music reading is sub-par.
