Hello,

Wonderful music,
wonderful playing,
pure beauty.

Regards,

PS : BTW, is "donzella" the original title of the lullaby?

Thank you so much for this wonderful piece, Hilary. It's beautiful and played delicately.
"In music I think it's very, very dangerous if you start to compare and say, 'This is good, this is not good, this is only one possibility' . . . there are so many possibilities, but what is important is to be open to that." - Pavel Steidl

Dear gilles T, David, Susan, and mkduzgoren,

Thank you! :merci: The original title is sometimes called "Durme, Durme," and sometimes "Durme Hermosa Donzella."
Here are the Ladino lyrics:

Durme durme hermosa donzella, Durme, durme sin ansia y dolor
Que tu esclavo que tanto desea, Ver tu sueño con grande amor
Hay dos años que sufre mi alma, Por ti joya mi linda dama
Siente, siente al son de mi guitarra. Siente hermosa mis males cantar.

Sleep, sleep my beautiful, sleep without worry or sorrow
Here is your slave who only wishes to watch over your sleep with the greatest of love
For two year my soul has suffered, for you, my jewel, my beautiful
Listen, feel the sound of my guitar. Listen, my beautiful, to the song of my sorrows.

Thank you Allister! :merci: It was fun doing the video at the radio station! There were many cameras moving many different ways, and of course they have great sound equipment. Thanks for your kind words! - Hilary

Another great piece! Thank you.
Lean your body forward slightly to support the guitar against your chest, for the poetry of the music should resound in your heart.

Dear Stephen, Jeff, and Cliff,

Thank you so much! It is nice to hear your kind words, and I am happy to hear that you are enjoying playing and listening to the music. I am working on a version with fingering, and I'll post that when it is ready, along with the version without fingering.
:merci: - Hilary

Thank you Ed! I'm still figuring out the how to notate the fingering so that it does not look too cumbersome in the music. Thanks for your very kind words! :merci: Hilary

Great composition and execution.
It will be a real challenge for me, but I like hard works.
Thank you for sharing.
